Please bookmark the correct page at http://www.weEndeavor.com  Before the days of Clay County Rural Telephone and other Cooperatives, modernization had almost bypassed rural America.  Large telecommunications service providers failed to see the profitability in less populated rural areas like ours, and preferred to serve more densely populated metropolitan areas. In response, local citizens banded together, and over the course of history, one exchange at a time, members built a rural telephone industry.   The story of CCRTC’s creation and success isn’t just a story about technology. It’s about men and women with a vision for their community; businesspersons with far-reaching ideas; and citizens who were willing to work together for the benefit of their neighbors.   From the modest beginning of as few as 50 members to our thriving present of over 12,660 in the nine CCRTC exchanges, the legacy of all those pioneers of telephony continues today through the procurement of important innovations in telecommunications.  We are proud to provide total communications with a personal touch to all of our communities.
